Very nice for a merlot, easy and approachable like most, but packing more substance than you would expect. The ripe cherry and berry flavors really shine through on this one, but with the background of baking spices, it makes it pair-able with many different foods.

Too syrupy. Not the worst merit ever but not a standout.

Smooth, fruit-forward Merlot. Lighter body than I expected.

Tried with pizza. While not without its moments of good flavor, it has that watered-downed texture certain Merlots have. It's not terrible, but one can find better.

Sweeter than my favorite merlot, has a slight citrusy fizzy sensation on the tongue, starts off plum and finishes with pleasant tannins.
