Massive and complex. On opening it was some berries and gripping tannins. Let it sit for two days with cork in. Starting to open up on day 3. Still evolving. I get olive tapenade, crushed blackberries, wet wood, a bit of cherry, baking and savory spices. I’m guessing this needs many years to integrate and balance out. Will let you know in 2031!

Didn’t like this one as much as the first I had. This was more fruit forward with a ton of funk and acidity. After a few hours it was better but given the high amount of acidity and fruit I’m not sure it’ll get better. Reminds me of a good carbonic Grenache or other rhone varietal. Some olives in there as well. It’s good.

Beautiful floral nose, tart red fruit, slightly pétillant, earthy and wild 😜

Cranberry, blackberry, slight pickle of CO2. Blind I might guess Austrian Blaufränkisch
