Serves blind. Wow. Huge structure and so much finesse. Grand Cru for sure. @Jasmine Hirsch

The last 2 years of rest have worked wonders in allowing this to shed what were some substantial tannins. Noticeable structure and weight, racy dark cherry with some blood orange zest. A very engaging wine.

Complex, exotic, deep, dark for the appellation, already showing some bottle bouquet, solid.

Flower and wet stone. Deep, clear red fruit. Beautiful, if not currently rigid, glimpses of structure. A tug that illustrates both its youth and the reward of patience. A triumph of controlled eastern sun.

Taking these two beauties for a test drive. East shows its classic dark fruit and structure, with some extra tannic power due to this epic vintage.
