Huge value for a single vineyard Napa cabernet. Huge layered red fruit with enough oak to make it pleasurable now, but not enough oak to cover up the beautiful mineral and rock notes. Smooth, fine grained tannins.

A ~$40 bottle that drinks like an $80 bottle. Good structure, with a solid oak and cassis finish. This is what cab is supposed to taste like.

Jul 15th, 2018Solid and smooth. Not very much berry notes, but some blueberry on the finish with a tiny bit of leather. Definitely a good value in the $40-45 price range if you can acquire it for that.
