Lots of tannins when just opened. Much smoother when aerated. Dark and bold.

Solid blend, give it a 89. Bit pricey at $45, but still pretty tasty.

Silky. Mostly Merlot. Blackberry and a hint of dry earth. Well made and mouthwatering.

Nice find up in Yountville. Hadn’t had their wine before. Locals recommended. This wine is a nice drink. Fruit, spice, nice tannins. Solid effort.

So this was a tannin bomb. Not sure if it will open with time, but so tight. It actually had good fruit. I would like to try this again in 2-5 years.

Deep opaque purple in the glass. On the nose, blackberry, plum, and vanilla with meaty undertones. Very juicy dark fruit on the palate with high alcohol, soft tannins, and medium acidity. Some oak spice is appreciated on the relatively short finish. Blend of 68% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Merlot, 11% Syrah, 5% Malbec, and 3% Petit Verdot sourced from a variety of Hill Family lots.

One of our very favorite red wine blends. Lots of dark red fruit flavors with plum boysenberry raisin noticeable. Should pair well with Tri tip off the grill.

Crowd pleasing cab for non-winos. Held up well while other side bottles were going
