Hill Family Estate
Origin Napa Valley Red Blend
Lots of tannins when just opened. Much smoother when aerated. Dark and bold.

Aug 19th, 2023Tasting really nice for a new release. Leather, blackberries, silky smooth on palate, good body. There’s some spice almost bordering on a curry like spice. Really long lovely finish with strawberry compote, plums, and just the slightest hint of cocoa.

Jul 17th, 2022Got as a free gift from our hotel in Yountville. Deep fruit and darker than I usually like. Big wine that needed time to open.
