Origin Napa Valley Red Blend

Lots of tannins when just opened. Much smoother when aerated. Dark and bold.

Solid blend, give it a 89. Bit pricey at $45, but still pretty tasty.

Silky. Mostly Merlot. Blackberry and a hint of dry earth. Well made and mouthwatering.

Pretty good still.

Dark berries, some earth, cocoa. Overall very nice and easy to drink.

Tasting really nice for a new release. Leather, blackberries, silky smooth on palate, good body. There’s some spice almost bordering on a curry like spice. Really long lovely finish with strawberry compote, plums, and just the slightest hint of cocoa.

Big wine. Been on a Rioja kick and this is blasting my face. It’s good juice but… very ripe. desperately needs a ton of air and a fatty steak, which I happen to have.

Got as a free gift from our hotel in Yountville. Deep fruit and darker than I usually like. Big wine that needed time to open.

Blue and purple (blurple) fruit. Mildly Exotic. Pair with dry aged wagyu tri tip for a pretty good time. Mostly Merlot, then Malbec/Cab

Black raspberry and currant. Nice and bright, medium body. Ripe intensity. Pair with short ribs and a fat booty slap. 55% merlot, 18% Malbec , 17% cab, 5% PV, 5% franc, 69% badonkadonk
