Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Full throttle Cabernet , still purple despite age, but not quite opaque...super hot...mid palate lacking..100% blackfruit, jammy liqueur, tannins soft...just felt unbalanced...big alcohol fruit bomb..

Good. Bought at Tokyu Honten for ¥4,320.

I believe I bought this wine through Vivino App. Decent price range but absolutely the 2014 was better! Dusty pronounced tannins..tar..black licorice...plums..and violets. Nice wine that improves after 45 min. of air. Nursing a cold so my palate is most likely in question! 😷
