This wine is a wonderful example of Doctor's Vineyard from the Santa Lucia Highlands. It's a richer style Pinot Noir, that beautifully expresses riper fruits, elegant tannins, and touches of oak. Great wine for the 4th!

At $30 this is one of the best Pinot values I've had for some time. Light fruit on the nose, sweet cherry cola palate. Just a touch of oak- tannins are all set. Maybe a touch sweet, but a really nice wine.

Didn't love right at first but not a bad Pinot. Definitely not the style of Pinot I enjoy but for a fuller bodied Pinot this was ok--earth, cherry cola, decent acid.
