Low alcohol helps quiet the often aggressive nose usual with this varietal; less nail polish remover and more white peach. Somewhat thin on the palate, disappears in a hurry without lingering. Not my style, but fairly well made.

#bcwine#okanagan 2013 Hester Creek Trebbiano, Okanagan, BC. Ripe and lush with notes of Asian pear, white peach, pineapple and grapefruit peel. Soft and round; medium bodied. Shows how Trebbiano can create a lush wine in a desert climate from 40 yr old vines. #wine#sommelier

Grapefruit on the nose... On the palate, the peach takes over with dried grapefruit still there as well... The tartness of the grapefruit lasts through the medium finish.

Quite acidic, riverstone, peach, some lime. Effervescent. A unique wine really. Tasting blind, you could be forgiven for throwing out a half dozen grape varietals that this could be. Very interesting under the trees on a hot day in the yard.
