Great example of German Riesling Auslese. A bit more developed than expected due to small bottle. Aromas of dry herbs, especially sage, honey, dried apricot, baked apple. Great acidity to balance the sweetness. Body is round and smooth, some hazelnuts and butter in the aftertaste

Out of all the Kloster Eberbach Reislings, this one is my favorite. Dry, oaky, find that most of the complexity comes out not when it is super chilled, but only slightly cooled. Flavors are fruity and then dry, like drinking two different wines at same time. Just fantastic.
