Hermes
Peloponnisos Moschofilero
Star bright pale melon. Inviting nose and medium-bodied palate of spiced quince, orange rind, and balsam. Medium plus acidity and a hint of black pepper(!) on the finish. No tannins, but definite texture from the extended skin contact. Mediterranean food has a natural pair in this classic Greek varietal wine. Light enough for salads Lc olives , or feta; but enough structure for lamb and light pork dishes. Drink now through 2022.

Jan 24th, 2021Had the 2021 in April of 2024. What a fun wine. New grape for us. Lighter wine with a hint of orange sweetness. Paired well with pork souvlaki but not so much with the lemon rice. Would definitely buy again.
