That’s right, an (almost) 16% Pinot noir, Russ From is the Paso Meister of bold but balanced reds. One of my favorite wine makers.

Sep 29th, 2022This was a monster truck Pinot for sure. Not to be paired lightly with food and not to be mistaken for a Burgundy. This has extraction, alcohol, and tons of flavor. Different but fun.

Apr 13th, 2018My 500th wine!
I was very excited to try this Pinot from Herman Story. Clocking in at 15.2%, like any other of their wines, this is no shy flower.
Over the top in a magnificent way. Explosive nose and bursting with cherry and cola. Despite the high octane, there is balance and no acrid burn.
She definitely deserves the name Smash City!
