A deep dark ruby, the '10 Herman Story Red Rhone Blend 'Casual Encounters' is more refined and subtle than most of RPF's offerings. He is definitely showing his feminine side on this one. It starts with lovely floral-tinged aromas of cherry pie, tobacco, toast and spice box that is followed by a soft lush mid-palate of sweet fruit compote and spicy vanilla flavors. The finish is perfectly balanced, quite lengthy and eminently satisfying.
