Licorice and jammy sweet black fruits on the nose; jammy and intense fruit juice. Not very refined and not enough acidity to balance the jamminess.

Holy smokes. Such an elegant wine, brooding black fruit, solid oak presence, meaty, spicy, peppery, silk tannins, long finish. Needs a good decant.

If the 12' Mt. Edelstone's this good, what more the HOG! Must try.
