This week our group tasted nine Cabs from arround the world, all from the 2001. Really interesting what 20 years of aging can do depending on the terroir. I love this wine, smelled like chocolate – the group ranked it much lower, but it was my #1.

Jammy, spicy, smooth as silk. Full of fruit, but the tannin alcohol and sweetness are all a touch out. Chocolate, dark berry and some earthy notes set it off.
