Nice forest cherry and pomegranate with piney and stony undertones framed by hard acidic structure. A wine of depth but one that needs food in youth. After having the 2009 a few nights ago, which by all accounts was a better vantage, I'm not convinced the structure of the wine will soften before the fruit fades.

A tightly knit wine showing some secondary notes, but a pretty nose of dusty forest floor, tea leaves and cherry greet you. The palate follows with cherry, dead leaves and a hint of lemon zest. The wine feels tight even after a few hours open and definitely a Pinot of Beaune weight, but it just kept getting better and better and felt a bit richer as it opened. 2009

Aromatic - pop rocks! Fruit didn’t come around on the palate until Day 2.

Took some time to open up, but when it did, really great. Very expressive

Very nice! On the lighter side but with some clear oak and tannins. Would drink this again.
