Jayer makes the best wines in off years just like 86. He says anyone can make a good wine in years like 85 but the shadow years are ones to prove one's mettle. He proves it here even in this village wine. Exceptional balance, purity of fruit, almost hard candy Flavors and ethereal mouth feel...just unforgettable. If I ever find this wine again...buying all of it!
