Top shelf Riesling. Aging beautifully. Drank over two days. Love aged Canberra district Riesling. Generally I've found that they need at least a decade to integrate. Balance of citrus fruits and talc. So different from Eden and Clare. This will go another decade easily.

Musky and mineral notes. Lime rather than lemon on nose and palate with grapefruit. The shrill acidity of 8 years ago now diminished but still high at 10 years of age. Quite tangy and refreshing. The Canberra District has proven to be very suitable for Riesling with producers like Helm and Clonakilla.

Pale lemon in colour. Aromas of Talc and Citrus. Palate is quite lean with Lemon and Lime flavours and pronounced acidity. Thought this might have diminished a little after 7 years. Still a long life ahead but will the mid palate fill out? For the Riesling Acid freaks. Will try next bottle in 3 years when 10 years old. I have visited the winery and met Ken Helm who is passionate about his Rieslings in the Canberra District. Addition 98 weeks later on 2nd March 2019. Not as much citric acid as previous - it has filled out somewhat. Next in a year when 10 years old.

A superb dry riesling. Light yellow-gold colour. Complex, intense and multilayered aromas. Starts with citrus and green apples, then tropical fruits, honey and beeswax, some floral notes and minerality. Great texture and steely mineral acids on the palate. An exceptional wine and I was feeling it's a sin to spit it after tasting.
