And from France…. right to Idaho! A Chardonnay from the oldest Chardonnay vineyard in Idaho. Planted in the late nineteeneighties facing the Snake River from 2,700 feet elevation. An American style Chardonnay, if that exists, aged in new American oak. Slightly creamy, hints of sweet vanilla oak flavors well integrated with a high acidic, well structured wine with lifted minerals on the finish.

I rarely drink white wine, so I am certainly not qualified to review this wine. We recently received this bottle of '07 from our vet, who does not drink wine... she found it in her closet. The wine is quite old for a white. I expected to dump it after first sips, but, hey, it is not bad.
