Apr 6th, 2018Blackberry nose. Blackberry, raisin, pencil lead and white pepper on the palate. Winemaker tasting notes claims light tannins, but tannins where the first thing I noticed, as the wine goes dry and chewy from mid-palate on.

Jul 22nd, 2016Great balance . 10 years out seems to be the perfect time to drink it. Wonderful pepper, still good fruit , excellent balance. Still some fruit in the nose. I expect this is peak - drinking June 2016 for 2006 vintage

First sampled this at a wine bar in Monterey. Bought a bottle on the spot. Very easy to drink.

May 6th, 2016Nice Malbec with a nose full of fruit, blackberries and something else!! Flavor is clean with lots of cherries and fruit and a slight honey finish.

Lovely, but milder than its Argentinian counterparts (softer tannins, certainly.)
