Estate Bottled Malbec

A high alcohol fruit bomb. Blackberry, plum, raisin, currants, pencil lead, oak, medium plus tannins, and high acid. If wine were music, this would be heavy metal.

(Y) $14/glass. A really good Malbec.

Plum and medium bodied soft tannins great starter red

Blackberry nose. Blackberry, raisin, pencil lead and white pepper on the palate. Winemaker tasting notes claims light tannins, but tannins where the first thing I noticed, as the wine goes dry and chewy from mid-palate on.

Soft, fruity nose. Balanced on the palate blackberry flavors and a nice mid palate acidity

Great balance . 10 years out seems to be the perfect time to drink it. Wonderful pepper, still good fruit , excellent balance. Still some fruit in the nose. I expect this is peak - drinking June 2016 for 2006 vintage

First sampled this at a wine bar in Monterey. Bought a bottle on the spot. Very easy to drink.

Nice Malbec with a nose full of fruit, blackberries and something else!! Flavor is clean with lots of cherries and fruit and a slight honey finish.

This is my red wine. Still looking for other Malbecs that compare.

Lovely, but milder than its Argentinian counterparts (softer tannins, certainly.)
