Blind tasted as dead ringer for modem right bank bordeaux. Everyone was surprised. This is a dark merlot with a beautiful rose of rose petals, black currant , cigar and chocolate. Has some soul to it as well. Delicious overall and one of the best domestic merlot I've had in quite some time. Nice

Big green olive on the nose, giving way to chocolate , herbs, and strawberry. The palate however lacks depth. Soft cherry fruit, spice. A year or two past its prime. Still very enjoyable.
