Nice flavours of vanilla, oak, and earth - surprisingly complex for a Pinot Noir! Nice balance. Interesting!

A good bit of barnyard funk & oak on the nose and not much else. Oak has toned down a bit after 12 hours. Light cherries and an earthiness towards mid palate fades away quickly into a bit of aromatic spice which I can't identify. Finish a bit short. Good after it overcomes the initial wave of oak which imo overwhelmed the wine.
