First off, this was an excellent endorsement for the Durand. No way that cork would have come out in one piece with any other opener. Served blind. Medium red and extremely cloudy. May have gotten a good shake on the way over. Christmas /baking spice and tertiary flavors. Obviously old . I guessed 1973 for the age, but not Heitz Cab. Fun to try. Fay Vineyard.
