Very amusing to have this at a remote restaurant in Sudtirol / Alto Adige in Italy and have the first two notes that come up be from @Amer S. Ahmed and @Matt Perlman. This is a nice wine, especially after 2 hours or so to open. Herbs and gentle red fruit on the nose, great smooth mouthfeel, excellent persistence, just barely enough acid to keep it together on the finish. Delicious with some veal cheeks braised in the same grape (Lagrein).
