2013 vintage, started off a bit like port! But mellowed on the second glass.

Sourced from Elaine's vineyard on the southeast side of Seneca lake. Hazy, red/orange color accompanied with a red licorice nose. Fresh and juicy, not tart, red cherry mixed with some light mint. More rustic mouthfeel from being unfiltered. Finishes with slight hints of black cherry and mild tobacco, but overall very mild finish. Seems light for one of NY's warmest vintages. #flxwine #nywine

Seriously enjoyable. The little bit of age has given it this gorgeous cherry-rust color. Delicious expressive spice with red fruit. Lovely. A definite buy-again

This Pinot Noir from the Finger Lakes Region is a very good wine made from a difficult grape and proves there may be a place for this grape in up state NY
