Black fruited but with blue/violet/raspberry highlights. Fresh, nice fruit density, medium to full bodied, mild fruit-cake spice with supple tannin that exerts itself just enough to bring it all together. Good balance of ripe vs savoury, this is the best vintage I’ve had ... great QPR.

Rating is for Reisling not Shiraz. Lovely floral and citrus notes. But a little restrained and austere on the palate. Lacks acidity and freshness. I am sure that I have had this before and it was more enjoyable. May have entered a dumb period.
