Krondorf Old Vine Single Vineyard Grenache
Gorgeous. Savoury and juicy at the same time with thick tannin folded through. Plenty of flavour and complexity.

Jan 6th, 2018First straight Grenache I've tried. Loved it. Rich juicy raspberry but not sweet or jammy. Medium bodied, great spice that grows but doesn't overwhelm and fine understated tannin. Perfectly balanced.

Feb 14th, 2014Fantastic Grenache - fairly light on the mouth feel, and a good length. A bit of berry and dark fruit coming through, and as with a good Grenache grown in mineral rich earth, a great balanced flavour.
This wine would only get better with time in the decanter - however if you are like me then you probably just decanted and smashed it.
Enjoyable.

Party with Tamara, Murray, and Greg. This one paired well with the ginger inn the Mediterranean chicken.

Jul 31st, 2016Banging! Awesome structure grabs you, very dark fruit with complexity, long finish.

Feb 15th, 2016Raspberry, candied raspberry, black cherry with a little underlying earthiness. I think it will gain complexity with age but it's very smashable now.
