This is a Rioja in Barbaresco's clothing. Rose petal and tar dominate, with lots of juicy cherry, and a sandstone backdrop. A flutter of garden herbs creeps in over time. This is an excellent value for those who know what they're buying.

Had this awhile back and was unimpressed but it’s really come around: sort of straddling new & old worlds… light to med weight but elegant w/cherries & rose bush, herbs and tomato plant, some leather and spice. Decent complexity and kinda juicy - nice lil quaffer
