Not up there with German or Alstian Rieslings for sure but I like it! Both the nose and the tongue taste have the classic petroleum smell and taste that is prevalent in some but not all Rieslings. Alcohol is a bit high at 12% but for BOGO supermarket wine, it’s enjoyable. It paired well with pork and kraut but I was more prone to just sip it without any food. Definitely better than the same vintner’s Pinot Gris.
