Straw gold. Pomes, white blossoms, and slate on the nose. Echoed on the full-bodied palate. Racy acidity, but not strictly "lean." Very nice old Kabinett.

This was an impulse buy...so glad I did. It is quite lively for a 15 year old wine. Paired with chicken & cilantro potstickers and a quinoa salad. Citrus, enough sweetness that it should be consumed with somewhat spicy food. Extremely lengthy finish, honeyed apricot, orange peel, & floral notes. The cork looked like it was going to be bad (dark black on top 1/8 inch) but the full cork revealed that not to be the case and no off flavors. At least a few years remaining...drink now

What a wonderful Riesling!! Rich with a peach tone and full glycerin coating the palate. Acidity preserved the complex body and flavor. Classic wine that still has years of life. Happy holidays..
