Pale gold color. Aromas of dried apples, candied ginger, orange, and ripe pears. Medium + flavors of sweet raisins, baked pears, baking spice, marmalade, and apricots. Medium + finish and body.

Nice aromatics, honey and dried piineapple with a nice bright front palate but then it goes downhill with a metallic finish. Really wanted to like this =/

Benefits from breathing a bit. Honey, lichi nut, bread pudding on the nose. More restrained on the palate than I expected. Viscous, not too sweet. Good, but not great. There are better non-vin santo dessert wines from Italy at $30.
