Resin and pine... with juicy red berries and mushrooms. American and French (20 months) oak treatment.. Some sweet spices on the palate.

Cassis, licorice/anise, rosemary, and sanguine. Salty acetaldehyde notes (fino sherry) and rustic iron. Medium minus acid, elevated astringent tannins, full body (14.5%).

Tart cherries and salt. Great tart balance. Savory. Air was very kind.

Great stuff! Still an admirable tannic bite. If I had to describe it, I'd say it's two parts Roagna Dolcetto and one part Cayron Gigondas. A lovely pairing to lamb rib chops and garlicky baby potatoes.

You can taste the volcanic soil. Dark fruits on the finish. Perfect with blood sausage

Deftly balanced use of oak. Plum, black cherry, spice. Integrated grippy tannins. Lengthy spicy finish. Lovely

Country red from Santorini. Berry fruited, sweet spices from oak, and very cheerful. A light bite on finish.

Perhaps more interesting than enjoyable. Never in a red have I encountered such salinity, in fact imagine the most saline white and this would give it a good run. Medium - body, Med -tannin: Barbera-like. Unsweetened cranberry juice doused in salt, tobacco leaves and bacon fat.
