Dried peaches in this nose is excellent.
Tight bubbles, good mouthfeel of apricots and sweet grass. Medium acidity brings a lingering closure here - and reminiscent of an Austrian Sekt. Very lovely and worth drinking.

While Nyetimber (2007 BdB) still stands as a reference point for me, I’m constantly impressed with the generally high quality of sparkling wines from England.

English sparkling wine has made it to Napa! On its own, the acidity is tart but that makes it a great food pairing. Drunk and enjoyed with pigs in blankets and smoked salmon.

Very interesting. Another bright wine, not as effervescent as a French or Italian but very flavorful. Hints of pear, honey undertones of green apple and zest.
