As we travel from country to country, I am compelled to try the local wine. It's pleasant enough, but still a bit rough around the edges. Light and fruit forward with a touch of sweetness. It has a single note, but plays it well. Initially, the finish was a bit harsh, but some time in the glass smoothed it out. Paired gracefully with lots of different things from our Balinese buffet.

Sep 1st, 2023We are enjoying this Aga Red from Hatton Wines in our holiday location in Lombok, served chilled, although the Cabernet Merlot is made from grapes grown in Bali. We let the wine warm up, and it's greater complexity and depth emerged.
