Perfect Set Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir

2017 Vintage - from 3 vineyards in sta. Rita ( fiddle sticks , Sanford & Bendict ,Rio Vista ) real nice earthy , sassafras , cherry fruit , leather, toasty oak background - beautiful setting

Simple and straight forward Sta. Rita Hills. This was a interesting vintage, early harvest and small yields. Giving nice fruits but very light palate texture and finish.

Tried 2009 at first but went with 2007. Less tannic and smoother than 2009. Great wine for Thalia's hs celebration dinner and went well with the filet mignon
