Out of 3 Liter. A favorite vineyard from HC for me. While the 07 I am partial to, I feel this was showing well tonight and was ready Straight away. Big red juicy fruit, silky mid palate. 777 clone showing its flashy side. Long and lingering, with firm tannins to finish. The only downer is it shows a little minty on the gums... Yum

Opened on 11/16/2013, classic Carneros Pinot, big fruit and big wine. The fruit and the alcohol was almost overwhelming when it was first opened. A lot of tannins and fruit and a lot of structure. We didn't finished the wine during dinner. I finished the wine the next day and it was silky smooth with a nice balance of fruit and aroma. I wouldn't open this wine til 2010+.
