For a #10 wine spectator wine it should be better but I am not the Pinot noir fan usually

An old @Isaac Pirolo sourced wine. Held up remarkably well!!

Sweet, juicy berries and lush tannins. Round in the mouth. This is as close to jammy as I’m likely to enjoy, and is not shy on the alcohol at 15.7%.
But it never comes across as hot and is really a terrific zin in the full-bodied style.

Complex unfiltered old vine

Fragrant with exotic spice. Purple flowers, sour cherry, blackberry, a woodsy element but not like toasted vanilla. Interesting, balanced and delicious. Good tannin and acid structure to hold up the generous perfumed fruit.

Trying a new Sonoma Zin - not too bad

Cinnamon, berries, briary, raspberry, vanilla.
