1993 Harlan Cabernet Sauvignon. My last bottle. My LAST bottle. Surprisingly deep garnet color for a 24 year old wine. Aromas of Black cherries. leather, tobacco, anise and a hint of mint on the nose. Blueberry, graphite and pencil lead on the palate. Medium extraction and ripeness. Well integrated tannins that really only become apparent on the wonderfully lengthy finish. I was actually a little concerned that this Wine might be past it’s prime, but it has many years left in the tank. Drink now or hold for later. No wrong answer.
