Hardys
HRB Heritage Reserve Bin Cabernet Sauvignon
Happy International #CabernetDay! The Hardy’s HRB range is unique because the wines are made from grapes which are blended from different regions. It was Thomas Hardy who in 1865 started these regional blends and it’s great to see Hardy’s continuing on the history.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This 2015 Cab is made from Cab grapes from SA’s Coonawarra and McLaren Vale regions and some from WA’s Frankland River region too.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I found it a really deep scarlet black colour with wonderfull enticing black fruits and tobacco on the nose and those juicy black fruits flow through onto the palate with decent tannins that suggest this one will age for some years to come.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Rated 93-97 out of 💯 by the likes of Ray Jordan, Gary Walsh, Huon Hooke and James Halliday 🍷
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy! #tcweekdaywine
