An interesting Silvaner from Germany. Not fully balanced with crisp acidity and a bitter ending.
This 6 year old is a little flat tasting now, but does not have a racing acidity either. This is a good food wine.
I paired it with a cheese plate of soft cheeses, spicy jams and crackers.

A lot Grüner sensibilities here with loads of savory notes. Some slightly off-putting "shower curtain" notes faded quickly. Or perhaps I just faded quickly...
