Really cool wine. Very aromatic, deep, and dark nose of dark fruit, licorice, green herbaceousness and purple flowers. American oak? Nose reminds me very much of Cab Sav. The palate is more restrained than the nose indicates. Black fruit, pepper, under-ripe tannin. Medium acid and medium+ body.
