Another bottle at our table on OTBN was the Hall 2019 Diamond Mountain. Winemaker notes best describe this one - Deep purple hue. Effusive aromas of black fruit, 5-spice, leather, and earth. The palate opens with abundant dark fruit flavors. Full-bodied, rich, and lengthy - displaying abundant tannin and pleasant grip on the finish. Hall - always delicious.

Super rich. My favorite cab from the stags leap district. I think it beats Stags Leap Fay.

Hall wines are pretty good#, but really over priced. This one is no exception. They have several varietals displaying art work as the label. Overall, the wine is a bit sour on the palate. It was difficult to discern the oak or even the fruit in this one. It was moderately dry on the finish. For best results on flavor, I suggest serving after decanted for 30 min and at a temp of 60 degrees after a storage of 52 degrees. This one was not enjoyable below 58 and above 65 degrees.
