This 18 showed some nice evolution. Starting to round out and show its elegance.

I have generally been impressed with the quality of wines from Hall. Especially, given the number of bottling’s they produce.

Hall, Mount Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon

This Mount Veeder Cabernet delivers impressive consistency, with ripe plum and blackberry flavors that open the wine and carry seamlessly through the mid-palate. The concentration and depth are excellent—a direct result of the small grapes produced in Mount Veeder’s challenging terrain.

What stands out is the wine’s wide structure balanced by soft, approachable tannins. It’s substantial without being heavy, offering both immediate pleasure and the framework to age gracefully.

Definitely a special occasion recommend!

Dark fruit. Cranberry. Not as good as I remember having at the vineyard.

Big berry fruit, currant, and leather. Needed 2+ hours to really open up.

Nice big chewy red with lots of cherry and berry fruit and a hint of spice. Long and balanced palette that drank well right away.

Hall wines are pretty good#, but really over priced. This one is no exception. They have several varietals displaying art work as the label. Overall, the wine is a bit sour on the palate. It was difficult to discern the oak or even the fruit in this one. It was moderately dry on the finish. For best results on flavor, I suggest serving after decanted for 30 min and at a temp of 60 degrees after a storage of 52 degrees. This one was not enjoyable below 58 and above 65 degrees.

Inky black in the glass. Another Cab bomb from Hall. Loads of floral notes, dark berries and cherries. Leather, pencil shavings and hints of herbs. The biggest fruits dominates along with the tannins. Big long spice on the finish. Easily could keep another 10 yrs.
