Whoa! Interesting blend. I am one of Hall's biggest fans. This cab/Syrah blend is absolutely unique. Smells like dirt covered berries. Surprisingly smooth berry medley but even a hint of leather, which is interesting for such a young wine. Definitely worthy of waiting another 5 years. Love the story behind this wine!

2007. Solid Syrah Cab blend. Everything you'd expect. Full bodied and tannic. Classic Syrah notes of cassis and stewed blueberry. Very dry finish.

Likely would have benefited from some decanter time. Not halls best, for sure. Somewhat old worldly.

Absolutely amazing wine. Delicious, round, well balanced and ready to drink. Fabulous with food. One of the best recent cab blends we've had.
