One of the greatest barrel aged beers around. So glad these are offered in only 12oz bottles and drinking one during a 30 degree night is much better than a hot summers day at HotD. Time was better spent drinking seasonable IPAs then tackling 12+% abv. Still though, top notch Alan don't change a thing. Raisins, anise, caramel, vanilla, and coffee after notes. Complexity - master level.

Smokey nose, rich, syrupy, smoked ham and cloying sweetness on the palate. Very good, but overrated.
