Dark inky purple with a light purple rim.
Gorgeous on the nose, with blueberries, plums,sweet cranberries, vanilla, oak, blackberries, spices and herbs.
Velvety and elegant on the palate with dark berries, sour cherries, oak, chocolate, vanilla and peppercorn.
Long and tart finish with lots of black pepper, chocolates, nice tannins and Long and sensual legs.
A bit unbalanced with too much acidity, yet it paired well with fatty cheeses.
Drinkable now , but it is still young and would dramatically improve with time.
Needs 2 hours to open up.

I knew this wine was wonderful when we tried it at Seeing Red Wine Festival in 2019. Surprised it did not score better in subsequent years. But this one is really good! Had it with grilled veal chop, sautéed wild mushrooms and a little balsamic expresso reduction sauce and it finished well with chocolate ice cream!!
