Nice blend. Very appealing to almost any red wine palate.

Bright red in color with aromas of cherry pepper, and a little walnut. Must give Weiner time to open up. Repeat, must give time to open up. 1-2 hours, then soft tannins come forward.

Cranberry, clove, cinnamon, smokey fruit, moderate plus acid, medium tannins, high alcohol, with a long tart fruit finish.

An SLH GSM, who’d a thunk? The nose is like a tart Pinot. On the palate it starts tangy and bright with a burnt sugar backbone and pencil lead notes in the finish. Some chewy tannins in the finish complement the tart acid. This is heavier than I would expect for a GSM. I’d prefer if the alcohol were dialed back just a smidge.

Red fruit on the nose, pepper and blackberries and strawberries on the palate. Currants too. Dry finish, ready for the next sip. Not bold, not mello, medium body. Delicious.
