Bright red in color with aromas of cherry pepper, and a little walnut. Must give Weiner time to open up. Repeat, must give time to open up. 1-2 hours, then soft tannins come forward.

Nov 19th, 2019An SLH GSM, who’d a thunk? The nose is like a tart Pinot. On the palate it starts tangy and bright with a burnt sugar backbone and pencil lead notes in the finish. Some chewy tannins in the finish complement the tart acid. This is heavier than I would expect for a GSM. I’d prefer if the alcohol were dialed back just a smidge.

Jan 6th, 2018Red fruit on the nose, pepper and blackberries and strawberries on the palate. Currants too. Dry finish, ready for the next sip. Not bold, not mello, medium body. Delicious.
