Boneshaker California Old Vine Zinfandel

Dark Ruby with dark fruit aromas and smoky spice, made from 40+ year-old Lodi vines. On the palate black cherry and plum with vanilla and spicy notes, fine tannins on medium finish ending with chewy leather spice tones. Ok for price!

2018. Nice dark colors but still a bit light for a Lodi zin. Would consider again at a lower price. Not a 20$ wine.

Good. Not great. Drinkable with a bite.

Ripe. Lip smackin’ berries.
Needs to decant.

Dark purple with lots of dark chocolate, and bits of oak and vanilla.

Lovely full body, strong hints of dark fruit.

A little too sweet on the front end. Day two I feel it lost all flavor.

Love love this wine. Perfect blend of spice and berries. This is what I compare other zins to.

Hands down best Zin I’ve had. Heavy on the pepper. Gotta stock up.
