Color dark ruby center with fading to brown edges, showing age of wine. Nose was tart and soft fruitiness that doesn’t linger. Taste was soft and fruitless with no hint of acidity but showed a little character and finish. For a wine of this age it was well past it’s prime and on its last leg. Tasted it again after letting it sit open for over an hour and didn’t lose as much character as most wines if that age and actually had more character in the finish almost silky but not smooth.
