Spanish wine from the Toro region made by a Portuguese winemaker. Bush vines of Tinta de Toro, meaning these vines have no sticks or wire that train their shoot growth, these grow wild. A nice wine with decent substance, not a top Toro but a nice medium level range showing tart black and blue fruit, some roast beef, tobacco and iron notes. Firm and dry tannins should settle in bit. I also would not wait more than another year or 2 for the tannins to integrate better into the wine.
