Last bottle of my 2015's for this take on Wirz. A little skin contact brings out a unique melted wax quality, with salty bitter walnut on the finish. Evolved but youthful? Brassy but definitely not orange wine. Awesomely quirky.

1 person found it helpfulNov 7th, 2018Well judged skin contact that seems to suggest bottle age, in a good way to be clear. This could be a well cellared 10 year old Rheingau trocken, with a hint of tannin. Copped more, no doubt. ⛽🍋🔋⚡
